Allegiant Travel Q4 Results Top Views

Allegiant Travel reported after hours Tuesday Q4 earnings and revenues that beat expectations compiled by Capital IQ. The travel company also raised its FY17 outlook on capital expenditures.

Q4 EPS was $2.48 per share, down from $3.38 per share a year earlier but ten cents above the consensus. Revenues rose 8% year-over-year to $335.9 million and narrowly beat the $334.6 million average estimate.

For FY17, the company expects capital expenditures of $521 million, up from a prior outlook for $415 million. Cost per available seat mile excluding fuel is forecast to increase 5% to 9%.

For Q1, Allegiant expects total revenue per available seat mile to decrease 1.5% to 3.5% compared to the same quarter last year.
